While we are all obeying Government guidelines on staying at home during the Coronavirus-Covid19 outbreak, you may be worried about how this could affect your current or forthcoming home improvement project. We give our latest update on how Aspire Bifolds can help you keep your property improvements and plans on track.
An update on the current situation
Presently, our showroom is closed as we observe and comply with Government advice. We want to keep our staff and our families safe. The same applies to the general home improvement sector across the whole supply chain.
At the moment, all our key suppliers are also closed and we are all working from home. Our manufacturing supplier base is also closed and unlikely to re-open until it’s safe to do so. It’s also worth bearing in mind that painters of aluminium, suppliers of glass, systems companies and others in our supply chain are also closed. As a result, nobody is making windows, doors or glass.
If you’re worried about delays to your current or scheduled home improvement plans, we’ve put everything we can in place to help you online, on the phone or by email. We can also communicate with you on via Live Chat on our site, our Facebook page, and by video chat using Facetime or Skype.
Stay safe, well and continue planning your home improvement.
Here’s how the entire team at Aspire Bifolds can help keep your property project on track, whether you’re looking to replace your old windows and doors or mid-way through planning or carrying out an extension or other building project.
1. We are open for business to provide showroom demonstrations.
Our showroom may be closed to the public but you can still view our products. Take advantage of your tablet, computer or smartphone and talk to us by video chat. You can schedule a free video consultation where one of us is at our showroom and can demonstrate our products to you. You may think it’s essential we visit your home, but it’s not.
Using video chat, show us where your windows and doors are to go. If you’re looking at enlarging an existing window or doorway, show us that too and we’ll create a near-accurate estimate of the works. Skype, Facetime, Facebook Messenger are just some of the ways you can connect with us.
2. Pre-book your installation today.
While most of the home improvement supply chain remains closed, lead times and installation dates will be extended when social restrictions are lifted. Manufacturers will be under pressure to catch up on the backlog and we expend lead times across the industry to get longer.
The reality is, most of the home improvement sector has put back their installations, responsibly responding to the current situation and respecting that we all need to play our part. We’ve also re-scheduled our April installations for about three weeks time, in anticipation of a return to work.
When we return to normal our suppliers will be under pressure to fulfil delayed orders. As a result, lead times will invariably get longer. You can beat these anticipated longer lead times.
If you’re ready to proceed, we can prioritise you when manufacturing plants and suppliers are open for business. Our buying power and premier status with our suppliers means you don’t have to wait and we will get your products made and fitted as quickly as possible. We can’t guarantee an installation date at this time, but it enables you to at plan the rest of your project better.
3. Let us survey your new windows and doors now.
Whether you’re replacing your old windows and doors or looking to move forward with your building project, we can survey your openings now. A home survey only needs one person visiting your property, observing all the advice and guidelines on preventing transmission of the virus and keeping to the advised distance. You don’t even need to be in the same room.
Getting a survey done as soon as possible also lets us place your order with our suppliers so they’re ready to made it as soon as the industry opens for business.
4. Take advantage of improved staged payments.
All we need is a 10% deposit to secure your order. You save money on having to pay more upfront letting you budget your finances better while still safe in the knowledge your new windows and doors are on order.
Contact us and get your project back on track.
We are monitoring the news channels and intend to continue with these procedures to help you until or unless advised otherwise. Until then, our staff are working from home and remotely, ready to help you, discuss your requirements and keep your property renovation project on track.
